What is a superbill and do you provide them? Do I need a superbill if I am being met with under my insurance plan?

A superbill is an itemized receipt you receive from your therapeutic provider. It lists the exact services provided, dates of service, and specific billing codes required by insurance companies.

You submit it to your insurance provider to request reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses. Whether you will receive out-of-pocket reimbursements will depend on your specific plan.

Your therapeutic provider will be unable to determine potential reimbursements, so please reach out to your insurance provider to discuss your specific benefits.

Meet the Founder

Growing up in and around the film and entertainment sphere sparked a creative passion within Jordan from a young age. While she didn't know it as a child, her professional background in clinical social work would be greatly impacted by her creative light and lived experiences.

As the Founder of Kind Minds Collective, Jordan merges clinical insight with creative strategy to foster emotional wellness in innovative spaces. Her work centers around making mental health more approachable- both in a therapy session and in the greater wellness space. With a deep understanding of narrative, identity, and systems, Jordan curates spaces—whether on a stage, in session, or through digital content—where vulnerability is met with validation and empowerment.

Through Kind Minds Collective, Jordan and her team offer keynotes, trainings, and curated wellness experiences that bridge the gap between mental health education and real-world application. Her hope is to expand this wellness hub to support more clinicians, advocates, and clients as Kind Minds Collective grows!
