Who is Kind Minds Collective?

Kind Minds Collective is a mental wellness hub designed to center emotional intelligence, community, and creativity.

We fuse mental health expertise with creative fluency to offer support that’s affirming, trauma-informed, and engaging.

We want you to feel your best, unmask safely, and for you to have the support that is best for you.

OUR VALUES

We prioritize humanity and lived experience by ensuring every offering is rooted in kindness, accessibility, and dignity rather than rigid systems. Our work is guided by curiosity, which encourages continuous learning and exploration over judgment to foster genuine growth. By intentionally centering diverse voices and treating inclusion and community as active practices, we create spaces where belonging and collective healing can truly flourish.

Our Services

Our self-pay structure is organized into three community-supported funding tiers to balance accessibility with practice sustainability. Each tier reflects a different financial capacity and commitment to our collective wellness:

  • $250 per session: This tier is for individuals with consistent financial security. By choosing this rate, you act in solidarity with the community, as your investment directly helps subsidize care for those with fewer resources.

  • $100–$200 per session: Designed for those balancing personal growth with significant life commitments like caregiving, education, or a variable income. We collaborate with you prior to intake to find a weekly rate within this range that feels sustainable for your budget.

  • $0–$75 per session: We reserve a dedicated number of sessions for individuals navigating systemic barriers or major life transitions. These slots are prioritized for those committed to their healing journey who currently have limited financial access.

Navigating Insurance

1. Initial Profile Setup

To get started, your provider will send you a unique link to create your Headway Client Profile. During this setup, you’ll enter your insurance member ID, date of birth, and contact information. This secure portal acts as the bridge between our clinical care and your insurance provider.

2. Instant Benefit Verification

Once your details are entered, Headway’s system performs an automated verification of your specific plan. This provides you with an immediate "estimated" cost per session—including your deductible status, co-pay, or co-insurance—so there are no financial surprises after your first appointment.

3. Provider Coordination & Billing

After your profile is complete, your individual provider can officially link your records to begin your sessions. Headway then manages all the claims submissions and payment processing directly, allowing you and your therapist to stay focused on your therapeutic goals rather than paperwork.

A quick heads-up: While Headway's verification is usually spot-on, it’s always a "best estimate" based on the data your insurance company provides in real-time. It’s never a bad idea to give your carrier a quick call just to confirm your mental health (behavioral health) coverage for "outpatient office visits.

  • Carelon Behavioral Health

  • Quest Behavioral Health

  • United Healthcare (Optum) & Oxford (Optum)

How do I get started?

2

  1. Insurance Verification: If you plan to use one of the listed in-network providers above, please have your member ID ready so we can verify your specific behavioral health benefits.

  2. Tier Selection: If you are choosing a self-pay or sliding scale option, take a moment to reflect on which Community Tier feels most sustainable for your current financial flow.

  3. Consultation: We will hold a brief introductory call to discuss your needs, confirm the Weekly Rate or Production Pulse fee (if applicable), and ensure we are the right fit for your healing journey.

  4. Intake: Once the rate and fit are confirmed, we will send over the digital intake paperwork to officially begin our work together.

What is the difference between Therapy and Concierge Case Coordination?

3

Therapy focuses on clinical processing, emotional healing, and mental health symptoms, which is why it is often covered by insurance.

Concierge Case Coordination is a specialized, non-clinical service designed to manage the "logistics of life"—such as advocating across complex systems, organizing multidisciplinary care teams, and providing high-touch resource navigation. Since these services fall outside the scope of traditional medical necessity, they are self-pay only.

What exactly is the "Production Pulse fee" and when is it applied?

4

The Production Pulse fee is a project-based rate for high-intensity or time-sensitive consulting and mental health support within creative or corporate environments (such as on-set support or intensive workshops). Because the demands and duration of these projects vary significantly, we don't use a standard hourly rate; instead, we discuss a transparent, independent fee during our initial consultation to ensure it reflects the specific needs of your project.
